FAQs
What is the RSVP Deadline?
Please RSVP by 18th July.
What should I wear?
Standard wedding attire - dresses/suits/kilts.
Remember that this is September in Scotland so really the weather could do absolutely anything - but once you are in the venue you won’t need to go outside again until the end of the night!
Can I take pictures/videos with my phone?
Yes please!
We have set up a wedding phone and we would love it if you could share all of your photos and videos with us by texting or whatsapping throughout the night/the next day - please feel free to save the number to your phone in advance:
However, we do have a professional photographer and content creator so we would appreciate if you could keep your phones away during the ceremony itself.
Is there any travelling between venues?
No, everything is all in one place at Coats, Paisley!
Where can I park?
Guests are not permitted to park on site. There is some on street parking directly in front of the venue but this is very limited.
Is the wedding near Glasgow?
The wedding is taking place in Paisley, and the venue is 20 minutes away from Glasgow city centre. If you choose to stay in Glasgow you shouldn’t have any issues getting a taxi into the city centre, but may want to prebook.
How can I get back to my accommodation?
We would recommend the Renfrewshire Cab Co for anyone using a taxi at the end of the night. The app is reliable and allows you to book in advance for both arrival and the end of the night, which we strongly suggest doing.

Can I bring someone with me?
Everyone who is invited is listed by name on your invitation. We are unfortunately not able to accommodate any additional guests as we are at capacity!
Can I bring my child?
Children are welcome and will have been invited by name on your invitation.
Children are welcome and there will be other children at the wedding both during the day and in the evening - however, if you would prefer to have a child free night please don’t feel obligated to bring your children, just indicate this on your RSVP.
It is also worth noting that no special arrangements are being made for children at the wedding, but we hope they will enjoy joining in the dancing!
What do I do if I have any access requirements?
Our venue has lots of stairs both inside and outside. There is a lift available for those with access needs, and use of the lift needs to be arranged with the venue prior to the day so please let us know on your RSVP if you have any access needs.
What if I have allergies or dietary requirements?
The wedding is taking place in Paisley, and the venue is 20 minutes away from Glasgow city centre. If you choose to stay in Glasgow you shouldn’t have any issues getting a taxi into the city centre, but may want to prebook.
